KLIMT COLLECTION
This collection, inspired by the paintings of Gustav Klimt, attempts to capture the colours, geometrical elements and rich symbolism in Klimt’s works. Many of the pieces focus on paintings from Klimt’s Golden Phase by using sparkling lampwork glass in shades of caramel and gold, handmade polymer clay beads embedded with gold foil and hand-painted ceramic beads, all of which come together to capture the essence of these works.
The jewelry doesn’t just capture the rich hues of Klimt’s paintings but makes use of the eye, triangle and other geometric motifs which are so prevalent in his art. Modern elements such as stainless steel and copper, combined with dyed agates and pearls and other precious materials ensure that these pieces maintain an edgy elegance whilst at the same time remaining distinctive of the works of this “golden artist.”
