FRIDA COLLECTION
Inspired by the surrealist Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, these pieces attempt to capture the rich symbolism portrayed in her paintings as well as the colours and elements she adorned in her own personal wardrobe. The collection utilizes a variety of elements such as howlite skulls, acrylic roses, stone beads and hammered brass. All these elements are combined with a mixture of steel and copper and in doing so, capture the essence of Kahlo’s colourful works and personality with a mixture of modern and traditional materials.
